Ann Romney To The Little People: STFU

OK, so she didn't really say shut the fuck up—she's a rich white Mormon woman running for First Lady after all.

But, what Ann Romney did say, when she was asked how come if George W. Bush doesn't mind releasing his tax returns, Mitt has such a problem about it, was the following:
"You should really look at where Mitt has led his life, and where's he's been financially. He's a very generous person. We give 10% of our income to our church every year. Do you think that is the kind of person that is trying to hide things, or do things, no. He is so good about it. Then, when he was governor of Massachusetts—didn't take a salary in the four years."
And THEN, Robin Roberts pointed out that, if Mitt is such a good guy, and after all Ann had SAID—"You should really look at where Mitt has...been financially"—wouldn't it just make sense to go ahead and release more tax returns to provide documentary evidence Mitt and Ann are telling voters the truth.

That kind of makes sense, huh?

But not to Ann Romney.

Instead, Ann explained:
"[T]here are so many things that will be open again for more attack. And you just want to give more material for more attack—and that's really—that's just the answer. And we've given all you people need to know, and understand about our financial situation, and about how we live our life."
So, there. You've got everything you need—including no doubt the cake you can eat too, hungry little bitches.
