Protecting the Children from Literature—and Democracy

wishes to ban the teaching of democracy.
Today at examiner.com, I look at yet another manifesto from a Christian right ideologue. This time, the strange ideas are housed in the mind of a college professor, an assistant professor of business at the University of Missouri.

The manifesto is much shorter than that of Anders Behring Breivik, and of course it makes no call for armed conflict or anything of that order, but it does make a case for the need to defend the USA, and particularly America's children, from subversive, anti-Christian, ideas such as evolution, or democracy—yes democracy.
